Buzzing 4 Change

We don't cut cookies here

Today is a day 5 years in the making; today we celebrate the fifth anniversary of Buzzing for Change @ GW and the event promises not to disappoint. In those five years we have influenced hundreds of students, gotten our message out to thousands more and become a household name. GW has even listed us as one of their top student activities. Five years is a sign of permanence - its a sign of a well established program that has been woven into the fabric of campus life.

The presence that the program at GW has is something we hope our other programs will aspire to - each in their own way. As we expand to two more programs in the following year we will take the knowledge we have learned by working at GW and other schools to make these programs the best they can be for their campus. We will resist the urge to create a cookie cutter program - each campus is different with unique populations and needs. We can not use one yardstick to measure success for all of our programs.

Today is GW and Wednesday is Drexel; one program with an established track record and another just beginning to flex it's muscles. What they both have is an incredible potential to make a difference on their campus, in their community and the world.
