Sarah Ferst

President

I am a senior at GW studying International Affairs, International Development and Latin American Studies.  Buzzing for Change is very close to my heart; it was founded by my brother in honor of our mother.  I donated my hair freshmen year and will finally be able to donate it again this year!  (My hair grows back REALLY slowly).  I have been on the Buzzing board at GW for 3 years and I want this year to be the best year yet!

Rebecca Kahn-Witman

Co-Vice President

 

Rebecca is a Junior at GW double majoring in Anthropology and Judaic Studies.  She is from outside Philadelphia and loves the fact she can call both Philly and DC her homes.  This is her second year on the Buzzing Board and has cut and donated her hair twice before and cannot wait to do so again!  Also at GW, Rebecca is a STAR, or a tour guide, where she will not only recruit new students for GW but get them to BUZZ!  Some of her favorite things are dance parties, the Phillies, popcorn, and watching old episodes of Legends of the Hidden Temple.

Christine Healy

Christine Healy is a sophomore in the Business School majoring in Marketing and Event Management. She is originally from Easton, Massachusetts. At GW, Christine is involved with APO, a co-ed community service fraternity. For fun she loves taking long walks around DC and hanging out with our fabulous Buzzing board.

Ariel Warmflash

General Board Member

Ariel is a junior from Pennsylvania who likes theatre, animal crackers and sticky notes. When she is not doing something totally cool and B4C related, she enjoys living in London, rolling around in the grass and reading books with sunglasses on.

Jenny Orel

My name is Jenny Orel. I am the Treasurer for GW's Buzzing Board. I am from Lower Merion, PA and am currently a junior. I am a pre-med and a psychology major. Buzzing For Change is an incredible organization, and I am so happy to be a part of it!

Alexa Lee

Co-Fundraising Chair

Alexa is a Junior at George Washington University studying Human Services and Psychology. Originally from Guilford, CT, Alexa has been involved in multiple cancer foundations and organizations and became involved with Buzzing 4 Change in the Spring of 2010. In her free time, Alexa enjoys exploring DC and perfecting her baking skills!

Ann Meyer

Ann Meyer is from Hingham, Massachusetts. She is currently a junior at George Washington University studying French Language and Literature and Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys baking and bike riding!

Yasmin Lalani

Yasmin is from Riverside, Connecticut and is in her final year at GWU.  She is double majoring in economics and geography and minoring in international affairs.  When she graduates, she wants to go into international development.  Yasmin has been a fundraising chair on the Buzzing board for two years now and is very excited for this to be the best year ever!
