How can I participate?
The number one way of getting involved with B4C is to participate in a B4C event. In the spring of 2008, there were B4C events on campuses including Drexel University, The George Washingtin University, and Rutgers University. The B4C event at Virginia Tech will take place in the fall of 2008.

How can I sponsor an individual participant?
One of the most crucial parts of Buzzing for Change is sponsoring our participants, whether they are cutting, shaving or volunteering. Our goal is for one hundred percent of the proceeds to go to the charity that a school's program is sponsoring in a given year. We encourage each program to make a concerted effort to cover all administrative costs with other grants and funding so that every penny of in-person solicitations goes directly to the charity. The money raised by participants is not just important for the charity; but we believe that if a school reaches its goal of raising a certain amount it will help to inspire participants and others that hear about the event.

How can I change the world in five minutes?
One of our goals is for everyone to participate in Buzzing for Change at the level they are most comfortable with and at the level they have time for. If you only have five minutes to devote to Buzzing, then check out our "5 Minutes to Change the World" campaign.

I would like to help publicize the event. How can I do that?
We believe that publicizing the event is a way of supporting us. You can download posters, put up a B4C buddy icon, or add a link to our website in your AIM profile or e-mail signature. If you work for a newspaper and want to write about Buzzing for Change, you can contact us for a press kit.

Can I sponsor The Buzzing for Change Foundation?
The Buzzing for Change Foundation is working hard to support programs at schools around the country by providing resources and support to the programs and the student leaders running them. Through collective buying, national sponsors, conference calls and web and graphic design support we help to ensure the success of each B4C program.

Corporate sponsors are a unique way to support Buzzing for Change programs and The Buzzing for Change Foundation. You can gain valuable advertising through having your company's name and logo appear on Buzzing for Change t-shirts given to participants and on this website.
