Buzzing 4 Change

B4C @ Drexel

Buzzing for Change (B4C) is a one-day hair shaving extravaganza where participants are sponsored to shave their heads, or cut their hair. People are encouraged to participate in any way that they feel comfortable, with activities ranging from buzzing their hair to volunteering at the event. Unlike most charities, the proceeds from B4C are used to enrich the lives of children living with cancer today, instead of funding cancer research. One hundred percent of the money raised at the event is going to be donated to the pediatric oncology center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and all of the hair will be donated to Locks of Love.

This is the first year that Buzzing for Change is happening at Drexel and we're really excited about it! We're looking forward to having a great event with an even greater turnout. Some ways to participate are buzzing your head, sponsoring a friend to buzz, cutting your hair, or volunteering at the event. All of the money raised this year will go to the pediatric oncology department at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to help enrich the lives of children living with cancer.
