Sorry for being so distant

Many of you may have been wondering where we've been all summer. Let us first apologize that this post did not come earlier in the summer. For those of you that are in college, work for an educational institution or remember back when you went to college - the summer is down time.
We, like our students, put in a lot of work throughout the academic year and spend the summer re-charging. We take time to review the past year, our successes and what we need to improve upon. We look at our numbers - our programs, participants and dollars raised and figure out what that means for us. We also look at the materials we give to our programs and distribute at our events and ask how we can improve them.
This summer we are going a further. This weekend, at The Buzzing for Change Foundation's annual meeting we hope to adopt a three year strategic plan that sets a course for our organization. This will govern what we need to do to successfully grow and succeed at our mission of educating college communities, helping children living with cancer, growing leadership skills of college students and inspiring people to take action.
While we hope to write again before the fall, we hope you will not be put off if we don't. Enjoy your summer!
